Our Coaches

Coach - Christine Nedas is a Bronze Licence Coach and has a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a diploma in education. She is a full-time secondary school PE teacher and brings a wealth of knowledge to the club. Chrissy has also been selected to coach on the pacific school games team in 2008, a great acknowledgment to her commitment to coaching. Chrissy coaches the higher levels Blue, Black, Bronze, Silver and Gold Levels.

Coach - Katie Clarke has coached for over 12 years and is a Silver Licence Coach. She runs her own small swim school specialising in working with baby and preschool children. Her past coaching experience has seen swimmers through to state and national championships. Katie Coaches everyone with a Yellow, Green, Purple or Red Cap as well as the pre-squads

Having worked together for over 10 years Chrissy and Katie have an excellent working relationship and personalities that compliment each other.

Together Chrissy and Katie have developed a unique training program where swimmers progress through to reach the highest level within the program. The idea behind this is to encourage swimmers of all ages not to specialise in a particular stroke too young, recognising that developing all strokes is important for overall ability and strength.
