'Come and Try' our Swimming Club

We would love to meet you, so please come alone and give our club a go.

The bottom line is that swimmers train to reach their full potential and goals. Be that in competitive swimming or simply to improve fitness. Over a 12-month period we have 5 swim meets that are compulsory for everyone, though there are always plenty of meets available should you wish to do more. Being based at Coburg Leisure Centre we have the support of management behind us and the club is growing all the time.

We would love to meet you, the first 2 weeks of training are free so we can assess your child and place them in a squad suitable for their ability. The two weeks also gives them the chance to see if they enjoy the squad they are in.

Anyone from age 6 and over may join provided they can swim 50m of Freestyle and backstroke comfortably. Should you wish to continue your swimming lessons as well as do swim club this is a great transition into the swimming club.

Please fill in the enquiry form below and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Kind regards

Katie Clarke

The best days to come along for an assessment are Wednesdays or Fridays 7pm at Coburg Leisure Centre.

How to Join

You can contact via email Katie or 0419538174

You will then be given a day and time to come in for an assessment, usually a Wednesday or Friday 7pm at Coburg Leisure Centre.

Once you have been assessed you will be told what squad is best for you and you can select the suitable training times. Fees are paid on a term by term basis and there are no refunds for missed sessions. Swimmers are welcome to do an alternative session if they miss a session.

Registration with Swimming Victoria is Compulsory for all Club Members this covers your insurance for club activities both in and out of the water. The first year you may register as a 'learn to swim member' however you can only compete in special events specifically for learn to swim registered members. After 12-months swimmers must register as competitors.

You will be given a Swimming Victoria registration form to complete that needs to be returned with the annual fee as soon as you commence training. Again this is your insurance so needs to be completed.

Once you have returned this form you receive two weeks of training at no charge as well as a complimentary kickboard (while stocks last). Like any sport you will need equipment for training and racing there is a comprehensive list below of what is required.

Should you have any further questions please ask when you contact Katie
